New Libya Flag, hoisted at the UN

(UN) decided to hoist new flag of Libya, the colour was green with a white crescent and three stars in the middle.

As quoted from the site Swissinfo.ch earlier, on Friday last week. UN has agreed to make the national transitional council Libyan government as the official representative of Libya.

According to a spokesman for the UN, raising the new flag is a request from the Libyan authorities.

The new flag-raising was conducted Tuesday, September 20, 2011, followed by the new Libyan national anthem, led by Libya's ambassador to the UN, Ibrahim Aldredi. (vivanews)

Forty Two People Suicide in South Korea Every Day

In the last 10 years, the suicide rate in South Korea increased doubled. The suicide largely triggered because the economy do not getting better.

Reported by Yonhap, Tuesday, September 6, 2011, the suicide rate in South Korea is the highest in the world. According to government records, in 2009, about 42 people suicide in South Korea every day.

According to the Ministry of Health and welfare, in 2009 the suicide rate residents aged 10-40 in South Korea reached 15,413. Means, every 100,000 people of South Korea, death rate from suicide reached 28.4.

This makes the high rate of suicide as the cause of death in this country. The second and third are traffic accidents and cancer. Recognizing this, the South Korean government began to take precautions.

Ministry of Health spokesman says: "The government will open suicide prevention centers throughout the country to reduce the suicide rate, Suicide has becoming a serious problem in our country".

Most suicides occur in young untill adolescence. They even use the internet to attract enthusiasts suicide through a group suicide

According to experts, the causes of suicide are depression due to economic problems. Economic problem remains a leading cause of suicide, although South Korea's economy has been growing on average of seven percent since Asian crisis 10 years ago.(vivanews)
